Crew OlympiX 1st Edition
It’s Game On!
The Genoa Superyacht Hub Team is proud to announce the launch of the 1st Edition of the Crew Olympix!
It will be a memorable four-day event beginning in Fe- bruary and lasting for about two months, dedicated to Genoa Superyacht Hub Crews and Captains.
The event includes the most unexpected and enjoyable competitions, in which “rival teams” can challenge each other. Teams will be made up from the crew of the gre- atest yachts in town!
Teams can be composed either of crew members of the same yacht or different yachts and the final winners will be announced at the Awards Night. Ready?
When will the Crew Oympix take place?
The opening event of this four-stage tournament for Captains and Crew will take place on Saturday 4th Fe- bruary. On this occasion, participants will challenge each other in a Duathlon competition, made up of running and sea bathing, the latter is not compulsory but gives the team extra points. The second day of the tournament will be held at Marina Molo Vecchio on 18th February, when the teams will show off their best skills during our traditional Party Games. Then on 11th March, Waterfront Marina will play host to the Ball Games Tournament. The Grand Finale, on 25th March, includes an Urban Treasure Hunt where crews will have to come up with the best plan to find the right route, correctly answering the highest number of quiz questions to reach the highest score. Each team will need to take part in all activities, and each day of the games will have various winners. All of the daily rankings will be added up to create the final score, with the overall winners being announced at the Winner Awards Night.
How can I partecipate?
Each team member needs to fill in a registration form which can be obtained from the organisers and from
genoasuperyachthub social media. A week before each event, the organizers will ask each team for their final participant lists.
To accommodate last-minute extra crew teams wanting to join, late registrations will be accepted right up until an hour before the beginning of the event, by showing up at the registration desk.

When the winners will be announced?
The best three teams of the tournament will be announ- ced at the Winner Awards Night which will take place on March 25th in a surprise location.
